Exciting Update from the ABGC TR4 Program! 🍌

The recruitment process for appointing Surveillance Officers for the Australian Banana Growers Council (ABGC) TR4 program is literally ‘bearing fruit’ and a good pool of candidates has been established for the field officer positions.

We are pleased to announce that selected officers will undergo comprehensive training to ensure they are fully equipped to perform this important task, supporting banana growers and the industry as a whole.

Our objective is to recommence surveillance operations in March 2025, with plenty of detailed work continuing to finalise a working agreement with DPI.

In addition, the position of Surveillance Co-Ordinator remains open and we are working hard to fill this key role in the very near future. There will be more updates as we continue to strengthen the support for our growers and the industry!
