New TR4 Project Officer

Exciting News: Sarah Rowan Joins the ABGC Team as Project Officer for the TR4 Program!

We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Rowan has joined the Australian Banana Growers Council (ABGC) as the new Project Officer for our TR4 program. Sarah comes on board at a crucial moment and we’re excited about the expertise and energy she will bring to our team.

In her new role, Sarah will play a key part in coordinating critical projects, delivering valuable information to both the TR4 program and banana growers, and supporting surveillance activities. Her strong background and wealth of experience make her an excellent fit for this role and we’re confident that her contributions will be instrumental to the ongoing success of the program.

Before joining ABGC, Sarah served as a Construction Project Manager, where she was responsible for overseeing every aspect of projects from start to finish. Her experience also includes leading the implementation of Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) strategies across the country, driving efficiency improvements and cost reductions. Additionally, Sarah brings a wealth of knowledge in systems program implementation, contract and property lease management, and budget management.

We are excited about the positive impact Sarah will have on our team and the broader banana growing community. Please join us in welcoming Sarah to the ABGC family—we look forward to achieving great things together!

Stay tuned for more updates on the TR4 program and Sarah’s work with us!
